Homophobia and the memory of sexual exploitation

I believe you are correct in attributing the hardened attitude in the Black community against homosexuality to the racial memory of sexual exploitation during slavery. This memory has been buried so deeply out of a sense of shame it's no longer even a conscious memory, but it's been passed on from generation to generation in the form of our community's strictest taboo. Do you find this valuable?
