The influence of "foreign drinks" or greedy families
Sep 20 2009, 4:00 AM EDT
This article raises a lot of questions. Firstly title is "Homosexual arrested". Not rapist arrested. This already shows the bias to be expected in the article. Aparently it is more disgraceful to be a homosexual than to be a rapist. Then the "foreign drink" (by the way Courvoisier is a Brandy not a Champaign) indicating that this is again a foreign western vice corrupting the innocent Ghanaian youths. We all know that is not true. Also a normal adult of 21 years old would need to drink at least the whole bottle or more in order to really "become unconcious". Maybe the "victim" was not as innocent as he claims to be? Maybe he was an active part in the whole process. This case smells foul and maybe we should not take everything the homophobic media are presenting as "facts" at face value. Do you find this valuable?
