Gay rights has always being trampled upon and with what i always say, what has anybody done to support it.Gay has existed since sex started in the world and is so unfortunate, people who came before us never advocated for it, like how our forefathers did with independence in their countries. Now is the time after all you can't be charged with having sex. I cant still figure out where in the constitution of Ghana where homosexuality has being labelled as criminal or is it ignorance on my side that is causing this Or is that what has being labelled as un-natural sex comeon lets rise and make it clear to the world there is nothing like un-natural sex all sex is sex.Well lets wait and see, fidelix okraku Do you find this valuable?

Hi Fidelix
I'm not sure if there is anything about homosexuality in the constitution. The thing that is always quoted is from Criminal Code 1960 - Chapter 6, Sexual Offences Article 105:
Whoever is guilty of unnatural carnal knowledge— (a) of any person without his consent, is guilty of first degree felony; (b) of any person with his consent, or of any animal, is guilty of a misdemeanour

Notice that 'unatural carnal knowledge' is a crime even if you consent to it. But what is 'unatural carnal knowledge'? That is what the judges seem to determine when a case is brought before them. Why this is I don't know. Maybe if there is a lawyer he can help us understand why this should mean homosexuality. If it is just a matter of interpretation is it possible to argue other interpretations? Is it possible to educate the judges to show them it is not unnatural and not carnal?

Think the problem is if public thinks that police, judges, and religion has to dictate how publick lives there life, and I also think if thinks has to change i``s not the judges or police, religion we have to change first,no it`s the ordernary thinking by ordernary persons, like you and me,we dont want anything for pitty ,WE WANT RIGHTS !!!
I think the start is to change the thinking by persons round you,and get the respect you earn, and then les the pasitive thinking spred like rings in the water .
It sounds easy,and I know it`s not.
