Obama's visit to Ghana
Jun 18 2009, 3:39 AM EDT
Obama will be making a two day visit to Ghana in early July. Should he mention to Ghana's leaders, his gay reform agenda in the United States and enquire about Ghana's human rights reform agenda? Among Obama's positions: He supports the Employment Non-Discrimination Act and believes anti-discrimination employment laws should be expanded to include sexual orientation and gender identity; and he supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples. Additionally, Obama plans to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. He also wants to repeal the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy to make service in the military non-discriminatory as it is in many developed countries. He also wants to ensure that adoption rights apply for all couples and individuals regardless of their sexual orientation and he wants to develop a comprehensive national AIDS/HIV strategy including gays. This is all on President Obama's Web site! What do you think of it, and do you believe he should raise LGBT rights with Ghanaian leaders on his first visit to Ghana? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Please also look at the page on Blakk Rasta (see elswhere in this wiki) and Obama's uncritical embrace of this hate mongering homophobe
