The
homophobic social climate in Ghana is preventing gay people to come out of the closet, contact and communicate with other gay people, learn about gay life and the fact that many more gay people live in Ghana and to exchange information.
A wiki is a special kind of webpage: it is interactive. That means you can change it if you want! It is like a joint document, in which you can make corrections, add text, join discussions etc. The wiki is not owned by the creator; the community of members owns it. This site is
not meant to be a dating site or for pornographic materials. It is also not to be used by homophobic people in order to use abusive language or offensive gaybashing remarks. It is however possible for non-gay Ghanaians to join discussions if they really want to contribute positively to issues or want feedback to some really felt questions.
It is not for young men, either gay or gay acting heterosexuals, to sollicit money or gifts form
foreigners or sugar daddies.
This is a serious site to provide a platform to all those who are struggling with their sexuality or who feel a need to communicate with other gay people and open minded people interested in the gay community. It also has information relevant to the gay community, about
gay news,
gay rights,
homosexuality,
gay sex and HIV/AIDS,
gay sports events etc.
You can join a discussion by adding whatever you have to say. You can start a new issue or subject, You can announce and/or invite people to events, group activities and meetings. You can submit anecdotes, articles or interesting stories, relevant to the theme of the wiki.
You can join our community either under you real name, or, if you are unwilling to share your true identity, with a pseudonym. Please feel free to contribute your thoughts, ideas and feelings. You can directly
change or ad to the text in the wiki. The creator of this wiki however will keep an eye on the content to prevent misuse, porn, gaybashing or abusive language. This kind of content will be removed as soon as possible.
Please mind that if you upload pictures you should have the copyrights or permission to use the pictures and the permission of people depicted in the pictures to put them on the net. Do not put pictures of people who dont know about it!
No porn please!
