Unfortunately the so called "gay footballteam of Christian Village Achimota" is in an area which is too dangerous for Gay men to venture. It is strongly advised not to go there anymore. I just hope somewhere else some genuinly gay men can come together to form a new team, . If we could organize ourselves to become a real team, we should be able to get recognized as the official Ghanaian team for the Gay Olympics that are going to be held in Cologne Germany in 2010.

Also practitioners of other sports can try to organize themselves by using this wiki. Sponsorships are available for teams and sportsmen/women from developing countries.

Other African nations, like e.g. Namibia have sent delegations to the Gay Olympics in Australia with sponsor funds.
