Lets get organized; the Ghanaian delegation to the Gay Olympics 2010 in Cologne Germany
In Christian Village Achimota a group of gay and gay-friendly football players is training and playing at odd intervalls. If we could organize ourselves to become a real team, we should be able to get recognized as the official Ghanaian team for the Gay Olympics that are going to be held in Cologne Germany in 2010.
Also practitioners of other sports can try to organize themselves by using this wiki. Sponsorships are available for teams and sportsmensportsmen/women from developing countries.
Other African nations, like e.g. Namibia have sent delegations to the Gay Olympics in Australia with sponsor funds.
Another sports and gay event is the World Outgames 2009 this July in Kopenhagen (Denmark). To view .
But first it is time to seriously organize gay sports teams. If you are interested to link up for this purpose, contact Andy Shilongo by message in the member section of this wiki. If you know of other gay groups involved in sports activities, please either advertise it on this wiki or at least let Andy know so he can link you up with other sporters.
