The Gay and Lesbian Association of Ghana, GALAG, has appeared several times in the news by the words of its President Mr. Prince Kweku McDonnald (alias McDarling?), as representing the gay and lesbian people in Ghana. He was quoted in interviews in 2006 and he suddenly reappeared in a radio show on Joy FM and another interview in the printed and online press just recently.
The latest public statement was about the British foreign secretary's announcement that the UK will withdraw development aid to countries with increasing homophobic anti gay legislation like Malawi, Uganda and Ghana.
