On particular midweek nights, throngs of men and women gather at a few particular clubs to dance the night away to pulsating beats, and sometimes live music. The men dance provocatively close to each other, with reckless abandon. The few women around do the same with each other.

    Some good points - Homophobia was imported with European colonialism and religious conversion. Europe and OECD countries dropped their Unnatural Carnal Knowledge Laws decades ago. Sadly the values of Queen Victoria will remain on Ghana's statute books until struck off in a constitutional challenge. Ghana will have proven to the world that it has joined the 21st Century when the sexuality of a person is regarded in law as irrelevant as the colour of our skin.
