Sexuality is not something that counsellors should counsel anyone about if they are ignorant about the subject. Sexuality means: 1. Capacity for sexual feelings. 2. A person's sexual orientation or preference. Same gender attraction is regarded in most developed countries as normal and something unable to be changed by any amount of counselling since it is as inate to the person as left handedness is to a left handed person. Sure, lefthanders can learn to write with the right hand but their preference will always be for their left hand. Gay men in Ghana often marry women, but for the wrong reasons, and their real desire, realised or not, will be for men. In many historical eras, recovered art and artifacts help to portray human sexuality of the time period. Not surprisingly, men to men and women to women relations are depicted since the era of sinful sex persecution had not gripped religious leaders of the time. It is one of the cruel delusions of the followers of Leviticus. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to be counselled about the message of love and embracing Samaritans rather than engaging in the futile exercise of changing them into Saducies?
